Known issues:

  • Faulty or Leaking Electrolytic Capacitors

Some motherboards may contain faulty or leaking electrolytic capacitors, which can negatively impact system performance or stability. These capacitors may exhibit issues such as bulging, leaking, or even exploding, potentially damaging other components on the motherboard. Users should inspect their capacitors regularly and replace any that are faulty or leaking to avoid damage or system instability.

Notes:

Uses an Intel 82547GI Gigabit Ethernet controller.

Uses a Texas Instruments TSB43AB23 FireWire 400 controller.

Uses a Silicon Image SIL3112 RAID controller for additional SATA and IDE channels.

1x Dual Power System (DPS) Slot, Backup VRM. Also doubles phases while running.

To use Dual-Channel mode, install up to four memory modules in the orange and purple DIMM slots. If more than two purple slots are to be used, user should insert only single-sided memory modules to all purple colored DIMM slots. It is recommend to use double-sided memory in orange slots if four purple slot configuration is attempted, in order to avoid hardware reserved memory or performance problems (mixed modules should work; be aware that Orange DIMM = 2x Purple DIMM in capacity). If installed correctly, you will also be running in Dual-Channel mode with 6 memory modules.
