The CL-GD6410 is a high-integration LCD VGA controller designed specifically for notebook computers, focusing on reducing form factor and minimizing power consumption. This single-chip VGA controller delivers outstanding LCD image quality, supports simultaneous CRT and LCD operation (SimulSCAN™), and offers advanced power-saving features.

The CL-GD6410 offers a complete motherboard VGA controller solution, requiring only four or five ICs and fitting within four square inches. By using Cirrus Logic's Frame-Accelerator technique, this controller provides a high vertical refresh rate for dual-scan LCD panels while operating at half the clock speed of other LCD controller solutions, reducing full-active power consumption and extending battery life. The CL-GD6410 supports Standby and Suspend Modes for further power management and offers excellent display quality on a variety of panels.
