Description:
Overview
This is partially a return to the model 70 type 1 chipset. The 90X8134 DMA has been replaced with a 63F7520(ESD). Speculation: this new chip performs the same function as the old chip.
This chipset can work with either a 486 or a 386DX with a 385 Cache Controller. A daughter-board plugs into the motherboard, with one of these options. Type 3 is 386, Type 4 is 486. It operates at 25MHz.
This chipset includes two Intel 8259-2 (Programmable Interrupt Controllers).
