IBM PS/2 Model 70 T2 chipset

Description:

Overview

Found on the model 70 type 2 motherboard. It supports 20MHz operation. It is much more integrated than the type 1 motherboard. It is also very similar to the late P70 chipset, which is the same except that this chipset includes the 33F8602. It is unclear what function this has. This chipset does not include two Intel 8259-2 (Programmable Interrupt Controllers) or a 8042AH (Keyboard controller), this functionality is likely included in either the 33F5838, 33F5946 CPU Gate Array or 33F5944 Memory Controller. It is currently unknown what is in what chip.
